Echocardiography One of the most useful tools for our cardiologists is the use of echocardiography, or sound wave pictures of the heart. This allows the physician to examine structures of the heart and identify any abnormalities. We provide two-dimensional, M-mode, color flow and spectral Doppler ultrasound as part of this service.
Fetal/Prenatal Echocardiography This test allows the cardiologist to examine any major structural abnormalities and arrhythmias that may be present in utero. In order to obtain the best study, this test should be performed after the 18th week of pregnancy.
